Plan your farm layout efficiently by calculating how much of your tilled land is covered by your current irrigation system.
Total Covered Tiles:
0 tiles
Coverage Percentage:
0%
Required Sprinklers (for 100%):
0
Sprinkler coverage efficiency is measured as the ratio of tilled tiles successfully watered to the total planting area available. A perfect layout ensures every tilled tile is covered by exactly one sprinkler water zone, minimizing wasted overlap and dry patches.
Efficiency % = (Sprinklers × Range) / Total Area × 100
Imagine you have a farming plot with 100 tilled tiles and you have just crafted 10 Quality Sprinklers. To find out how efficient your current setup is, you would follow these calculations.
How do Pressure Nozzles affect calculation?Pressure Nozzles increase the watering range of any sprinkler. When calculating efficiency, you must update the range value (e.g., a Quality Sprinkler with a nozzle increases from 8 to 24 tiles).
Is efficient overlapping possible? In most cases, overlapping is considered inefficient because it wastes the limited coverage capacity of a sprinkler on a tile already being watered. Aim for "tessellated" patterns to minimize this.
Where should Scarecrows be placed?Scarecrows should be placed in the center of your coverage zones. While they take up one tile space, their protection is vital; just remember to subtract that one tile from your "Total Area" if you want a true crop-to-water ratio.
